how-to · iMessage

your stickers live in iMessage too.

every pack you make in the Ejecto app is added to your iMessage sticker drawer automatically — no exporting, no saving to photos, nothing to set up. make a pack, open Messages, and your pet is ready to be slapped onto your group chat. here's the whole flow in four steps.

the whole thing

Four steps. The first one you already know.

  1. 01

    make a pack

snap or upload a photo in the Ejecto app and let it print. the moment a pack finishes, all six stickers are added to your iMessage drawer on their own — newest pack first. the drawer keeps your latest ~10 packs, and signed-in packs follow you across devices.

  2. 02

    tap the ⊕ in Messages

open Messages, pick any conversation, and tap the ⊕ button to the left of the text field. scroll the menu — Ejecto is in the app list. tap it. (on iOS 16 and earlier it sits in the app strip above the keyboard instead.)

  3. 03

tap a sticker to send it

your drawer opens with your latest packs, newest first. tap any sticker and it drops into the message field — hit send and it goes out full-size, transparent background and all, like a tiny piece of art instead of a cropped photo.

or peel & stick it on a bubble

the fun one: touch and hold a sticker in the drawer, drag it up, and drop it on top of any message bubble. it sticks there like a real sticker on a real fridge. pinch with a second finger while dragging to scale or rotate it before you let go.

Don't see Ejecto in Messages?

ninety percent of the time it's one of these four. in order of likeliness:

  1. a

    Make one pack first

the drawer only shows up with something in it. open the Ejecto app and finish at least one pack, then check Messages again.

  2. b

    Close + reopen Messages

iOS caches the ⊕ app list. swipe Messages away from the app switcher, open it again, and the Ejecto row usually appears.

  3. c

    Check the More… list

tap ⊕ → More… (or Apps → Edit on older iOS) and make sure Ejecto is toggled on in the iMessage apps list.

  4. d

    Reinstall the app

the nuclear option, but it re-registers the iMessage extension with the system. your signed-in packs sync back down automatically.

that's it

Now go ruin a group chat (affectionately).

the more packs you make, the better your drawer gets. every style, every theme, every pet — they all pile up in iMessage, newest first.
